Dimraeth is an action RPG built around fighting, gathering, quests and a stronghold you improve between trips. Manage stamina in close combat, use concentration for magic, collect equipment and spend XP to develop your character.
Combat: leave yourself a way out
Physical actions draw on stamina, while magic uses concentration. Watch an enemy’s wind-up, defend or reposition, then attack during an opening. Emptying your stamina bar can leave you unable to respond when the next hit arrives.
Blocking also uses stamina. Treat it as part of your resource budget, not a reason to ignore incoming attacks. Learn one enemy’s rhythm before pulling several into the same fight.
Progression: XP, attributes and skills
You spend earned XP to improve attributes, and that investment advances your overall level toward skill points. Attribute costs and ability requirements influence which upgrades make sense for your character. Read those costs before spreading XP across several unrelated stats.
Some spells come from crafted spellbooks, while others are unlocked through progression or quests. A melee character can still use compatible magic if it meets the requirements.
Crafting: turn loot into useful supplies
Gathering and enemy drops support the crafting loop. Ingredient descriptions can reveal combinations, and discovering a recipe saves it for future use. Prepare supplies at your camp before another expedition.
The stronghold between adventures
Return to sort loot, place storage and improve your workshop. Keeping construction supplies separate from consumables leaves more room for the next trip. Developing relationships and completing quests can also bring allies into your base.
Is it like Stardew Valley?
The pixel art and home-building give it a familiar appeal, but combat and character progression are central to Dimraeth. Expect dangerous fights and repeated gathering trips alongside the quieter base-building moments. If you enjoy a home base that supports an RPG adventure, this is the part of the loop to look at.
Solo or with friends?
You can play alone or join online co-op with up to eight players total. Your hero can travel between worlds, while the story and stronghold belong to the world you are playing in.
